Kids Day Camp

Pizza Camp

Come to the farm and see exactly why pizza takes as much as 2 years to make. Time will be spent meeting and milking cows to make cheese, walking the garden to gather ingredients to make the sauce (when tomatoes are not in season, the previous year's preserved tomatoes will be used). Wheat production will be discussed, and grains will be ground to make the dough, all during a short tour of the farm and visit of some of the animals. The end result is a genuine handmade pizza made by participants and cooked in one of our wood-fired ovens ready to eat by the end of the session. *Please bring water bottles, closed-toed shoes, and listening ears! *Most dietary restrictions can be accommodated if noted prior to the event. Please mention this in the message field when you submit your booking request. ~ 3 hours $50/ child ages 4-18 (minimum of 10 to make the session) $25/Parent accompanying child

Little Red Hen Bread Camp

Once we read the story of the Little Red Hen, the real fun begins. Time will be spent meeting and milking cows to make butter, walking the garden discussing what our area can grow. Wheat production will be discussed if not in season and grains will be ground to make the dough, all during a short tour of the farm and visit of some of the animals. The end result is a genuine handmade loaf of bread made by participants and baked in one of our wood-fired ovens ready to eat by the end of the session. *Please bring water bottles, closed-toed shoes, and listening ears! 3 hours $50/ child ages 4-18 (minimum of 10 to make the session) $25/Parent accompanying child
